When TinyPad first starts up I have noticed that it is VERY slow switching from one Pad to the next. Once displayed for the first time the switching is quite fast.
This does not present much of a problem... just very unusual given the fact that the Pad files seem to be just simple rtf documents.

Just like in any other Windows application, a first-time slow reading is completely normal, specially if you have several processes running in your background. Low RAM memory is also another cause. On our test systems, things run smoothly on low hardware of 512MB RAM.
Also note to check for spyware on your system.
